Accelerating the Rate of Astronomical Discovery

Special Session 5, IAU XXVII General Assembly, Rio de Janeiro

This Special Session took place between August 11 and August 14, 2009. It contained some fantastic contributions and there is wide agreement that the session was an overwhelming success, exceeding all our expectations.

The Proceedings have now been published in the on-line journal Proceedings of Science.
