  • retrograde isotope exchange processes and cooling and uplift of mountain belts
  • numerical simulation of isotope exchange
  • the geology of Connemara, W Ireland
  • mineralisation associated with rifting

Teaching

I am module co-ordinator and teach four modules:
  • GL2030 Mineral Deposits A - An introduction to ore minerals and how to identify them, and the geology of ore deposits and how they formed
  • GL2036 Ore Suite Report - A detailed study of a single ore deposit and writing a scientific report on it
  • GL3035 Mineral Deposits B - An adavanced course on ore minerals and how to identify them, and the geology of ore deposits and how they formed
  • GL4025 Ore Genesis - A quantitative examination of the processes operating in the formation of ore deposits
