Who is the VGEC for?
The VGEC is a hub of evaluated genetics-related resources for teachers in higher education and in schools and colleges, health professionals and the general public.
What sort of information and resources are available?
The VGEC is incredibly diverse. It covers all aspects of genetics, including, for example:
- Information about DNA suitable for schools and colleges, higher education, the general public
as well as health professionals - Simple experiments suitable for all ages
- Tutorial information
- Videos on useful techniques
- Current and relevant links to other evaluated resources
How can I contribute?
We actively encourage feedback from users of the VGEC with the aim that this will enable us to further develop the site over time, so that it becomes a collection of tested teaching resources for specific teaching objectives and specific audiences.
