Welcome!

To the dictionary of Great Yarmouth slang! This is a diminutive dictionary of around 100 slang terms collected in 2010 from everyone’s favourite seaside town. I have collected around 100 slang terms used in the area by people who are generally aged between 12 and 30.

The glossary has been compiled as part of a final year English module called ‘Words and the World’ at the University of Leicester.
