Workshops

You can book for our workshops up to one week before the start date:

In person

Pop in to see us and pay by debit/credit card or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to "University of Leicester". Please note the workshop fee must be made in full at the time of booking. Unfortunately we cannot take payment in instalments. We're open 10am - 6pm, Mondays - Fridays (please call us to check opening hours on Bank Holidays).

Bookings policy

We deal with bookings on a first-come first served basis and only on receipt of the full course fee. Some of our workshops are extremely popular and sell out quickly, so you are advised to book early.

All bookings sent in advance by post will be treated equally regardless of the date we receive them, and opened on the day when bookings open in no particular order of priority. Bookings and cancellations policy.

Cancellations

Occasionally some of our workshops are cancelled due to low numbers. If this happens, you will be given a full refund. Wherever possible, we aim to let you know of a cancellation at least one week before the workshop.

Concessions

Concession prices apply to ES40 holders, and those receiving pension credit, incapacity allowance, severe disablement allowance, disability living allowance, disability working allowance, unwaged dependents of those in receipt of any of the above, and students in full-time education. We give free places to personal assistants accompanying students with disabilities but may make a small charge for materials if appropriate. Please ask at the time of booking.

Refunds

We hope that you won’t need to, but if you are thinking about withdrawing from your course or workshop, please contact Embrace Arts to talk through your options. You may be entitled to a refund or credit on future courses. If you do not start your course, you will be entitled to a full refund of any tuition fees that you have paid in advance. You will need to contact Embrace Arts in writing or by e-mail to confirm your withdrawal. A 5% fixed administration charge will apply to all refunds.
