This dictionary has been compiled by a 3rd year English student at University of Leicester, and is intended to give sportsmen and women an insight into the world of slang within sport. Readers will be able to search for both common and uncommon slang terms used in international sports such as Cricket, Football, Basketball and many more, and find out about their meanings and the etymology behind the words.
