The School of Education at Leicester provides high quality undergraduate, postgraduate and professional education. These include:

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in education and training for teachers including the new MA in Learning and Teaching
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Primary and Secondary routes into teaching; 3-7, 5-11, 11-16, 11-19, 14-19 in a range of subjects and specialisms.
Foundation Degree and BA programmes in Education for Teaching Assistants, Nursery Nurses, Cover Supervisors, Learning Mentors and Unqualified Teachers.
MA TESOL and MA Tesol & Applied Linguistics: Campus-based and distance learning MA and EdD/PhD in Applied Linguistics for teachers in ESOL, EFL, EAL, EIL and other contexts of language learning and use.

From September 2009 we are introducing a new one-year Masters programme for full-time students, the MA in International Education (with Specialist Pathways) which brings together former Masters programmes in Educational Studies, Leadership & Management and Educational Research methods under a common framework.
