The Money, Macro and Finance Research Group is delighted to announce that its 42nd annual conference will take place at the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology located in the old centre of Limassol during 1-3 September 2010. The programme committee invites submissions from academic, government and business economists in any area of Monetary, Macro and Financial Economics by 31st January 2010. Notification of acceptance by 31st March 2010.
Register before 1st June 2010 to take advantage of the reduced registration fee of GBP£225. The registration fees include conference lunches and the gala dinner on 2nd September. Graduate students presenting papers at the conference are entitled to a registration fee discount of £100 and will be offered subsidised accommodation.
Limassol, the second largest city in Cyprus, is located along a beautiful stretch of the Mediterranean coast and offers easy access to many cultural and archaeological sites. Accommodation for conference delegates at special rates will be offered by the 4* Elias Beach and the 5*Amathus Beach (starting from Euro 78 and 135 per night, respectively, including breakfast, complimentary internet access and complimentary shuttle transfers to/from the conference venue). A limited numbers of rooms are available at these discounted rates - please book early to avoid disappointment.
