Students are now being invited to apply for roles in supporting University Residences

Residential and Commercial Services are currently recruiting for Residential Advisors and Senior Residential Advisors to start in September 2011. The role involves providing support and advice on a day to day basis to other students, and you will be crucial to implementing a sense of community within the University Residences.

A great opportunity has arisen for a number of Residential Advisors to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone customer focused, used to working in pressurised environments and with good organisational skills. As a great communicator, you will be providing support and advice on a day to day basis to other students and you will be crucial to implementing a sense of community within the University Residences.

You will be required to take part in an “on call” rota where a stand by payment is made for each night you are on call and a further payment should you be called out during this time.

The length of contract you are required to undertake is dependent upon which area you support. Contract lengths vary from 31 to 52 weeks dependent upon which area you are responsible for. For roles that support self-catered residences you will be required to work during University vacation periods. You will begin your duties on 26 September 2011.
