BULLETIN BOARD

IT Services eLearning Forum

Working with others to obtain maximum benefit for the University from information and communications technology in the learning & teaching process.

Date: 11th December, 2007 Venue: Attenborough Lecture Theatre 1 Time: 13:00 - 14:00

The main aim of this forum is to inform staff and students of the development of emerging eLearning technologies in order to give an Institutional consensus on the deployment of such technologies.

We aim to hold such meetings two or three time each year and we hope to open meetings with one or two presentations on new and emerging technologies.

This meeting will commence with two presentations:

  1. Facebook and Blackboard integration
  2. SMS text messaging to students & staff

The meeting will end with staff development updates, general discussions and service update and reviews.

I do hope you can join us.

Dr Richard Mobbs,

Head of Web and eLearning Services
