Diets and Special Requests

We endeavour to accommodate all reasonable requests. Please help us by making any special needs known to your conference co-ordinator prior to your visit.

Laundry Facilities

Coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers are available for your use. Please ask your conference co-ordinator for details.

Tea and Coffee

Supplies of tea, coffee and milk are left in the kitchen of each block or house for standard rooms. All en suite rooms have tea, coffee and milk supplies within the room

Personal Property

The University of Leicester does not accept any responsibility or liability in respect of loss or damage to any property, including motor vehicles brought to the premises by or on behalf of any persons. Appropriate insurance cover should be obtained. Please see Frequently Asked Questions - Insurance

City Campus Facilities

Facilities on the city campus site include: several catering outlets (see Catering – City Campus), bookshop, print shop, general shop and fitness gym.

Accommodation telephone

There are telephone facilities in all bedrooms which are pay-as-you-go card operated. A card may be purchased from the reception, bar staff or the night porter.

Internet Connections

A free internet connection* is available in all bedrooms using the port next to the telephone. A network cable is required. Wi-Fi is available in most public areas within the Oadby site.

*Please check with your conference co-ordinator on availability if staying at Opal Court
