John Foster Hall

Featuring 571 all en suite bedrooms, John Foster Hall, completed in October 2006, is the most recent addition to our Oadby site. This modern, state-of-the-art venue also includes a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with social space for every 4 or 5 rooms making it ideal for small or large groups requiring self catered accommodation as well as bed and breakfast and residential conference guests.

29 of the bedrooms have been fully adapted for wheelchair users with some rooms having the additional benefit of an adjoining en suite carer room.

All rooms benefit from free internet access and telephone with pay-as-you-go service.

Adding to its versatility, John Foster Hall has an adjacent Conference Suite which includes a reception area, hospitality bar, dining room and 6 multi-functional meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 110 delegates seated theatre style.

This very flexible venue is ideal for all types of conferences or events and can be seamlessly combined with any of the neighbouring venues such as Gilbert Murray Hall, Stamford Hall or Beaumont Hall.

The Coppice

Adjacent to John Foster Hall, The Coppice is a recently modernised venue which features 73 en suite bedrooms extending from the original period house set in landscaped grounds.

As in John Foster Hall, all rooms have a shared kitchen and social space for every 4 to 6 rooms making it ideal for self catered guests.

All rooms benefit from free internet access and telephone with pay-as-you-go service.

Within the 73 en suite rooms, The Coppice also features 12 larger rooms complete with an integral kitchen area as well as an en suite bathroom.
