The Academic Venue Show – a great success for Leicester Conferences

A Great Success!

The recent Academic Venue show on 12th May 2010 held at the Emirates Stadium, London proved to be a great success for Leicester Conferences at the University of Leicester. The event brings together many UK academic venues that belong to the Venuemasters consortium who exhibit for the day.

In its second year at the Emirates, the exhibition once again attracted a wide range of visitors specifically looking at what academic venues have to offer the conference, meetings and events industry.

Trevor Miller, Sales and Marketing Manager for Leicester Conferences commented “The show for us was definitely a big success regarding the quality and volume of enquiries received on the day. We achieved in excess of 50 qualified leads from customers interested in Leicester Conferences and the services we have to offer. The enquiries have so far generated over £150,000 of provisional bookings and proposals with more prospects still being chased and processed.”
