Catering Venues

We are pleased to offer our guests an excellent mix of catering venues at both our city and Oadby locations.

Conference and event guests visiting the city campus are catered for in one of our dining areas within the Charles Wilson Building. City campus visitors also benefit from a wide selection of retail outlets ranging from stylish cafés and restaurants to snack bars.

Bed and breakfast, conference and event guests in Oadby can enjoy one of our fabulous dining rooms throughout the site or the convenience of an adjoining hospitality area for buffet meals and refreshments.

For group events, we have several rooms available for up to 500 guests with options for dance floors and licensed hospitality bars.

Oadby Sites

There are 3 large dining rooms in Oadby, each with their own individual character and style which cater for up to 280 guests.

Beaumont Hall – a traditional grand design with a seating capacity of 280 guests and servery for breakfast and self-serve meals

Stamford Hall – a unique dining room with lots of character, originally designed by Sir Denys Lasdun with a seating capacity of 280 guests and servery for breakfast and self-serve meals.

John Foster Hall – Our latest dining room with a modern, contemporary design and a seating capacity of 250 guests

City Catering

Our dining areas are located within the Charles Wilson Building and are available for certain types of events and functions.

Please note that all of the above venues have limited availability especially during term time. Please contact the Conference Sales and Events Office for further details.

For smaller groups there are 5 other rooms also used for dining and general hospitality ranging from 8 to 40 guests.
