Hello,

My name is Roger NASSAR. I am Lebanese.
In 1996, I obtained my "Maitrise" (the French equivalent of a masters) in Chemistry from the Lebanese University. In the same year, I was awarded the "Lebanese University Scholarship," this has enabled me to further my studies abroad.

I have been determined to further my studies within the English Language and since I was interested in fluorine as a research topic I decided to join the Fluorine Group at Leicester University to do my PhD. My research is centred around the low valent metal fluorides area.

My leisure interests include playing chess, swimming, playing squash and gym, listening to music and travelling (to see as much of Great Britain as possible) and I am also a subwarden in one of the universities halls of residence (Stamford Hall).
