Jo Fawcett

I'm Jo Fawcett and have been at Leicester University since I left Teeside in 1993 to begin my BSc. My degree involved a year out, in which I worked in "la laborotoire organique du fluor" at the university of Nice - sophia antipolis in the south of France. When I returned I chose to do my final year project in the Fluorine Laboratory, which I enjoyed enough to make me want to stay to do my PhD here.

When I am not in the lab I enjoy clubbing and propping up the Union Bar with friends as well as reading, travelling and gardening.
