Ben Croxtall

Having just finished my undergraduate Masters Degree in Chemistry at the University of Leicester, I started my PhD in October 1999, sponsored by Glaxo Wellcome. My initial interest in the current research within the fluorine group began when I worked with Dr Hope for my fourth year project, which concentrated on the Fluorous Biphase Methodology.

Outside of the laboratory, I enjoy a wide range of interests including walking, listening to music and reading. I also like to visit the cinema and theatre regularly and I am a keen sports fan, following both Leicester City Football club and the Leicester Tigers.
