Localised Learning Assisted by Mobile Applications

LLAMA addresses the challenges of the Wirral Hospital NHS Trust (WHNT) in the area of statutory and mandatory training. It implements and evaluates the use of pedagogically and technically sound, flexible, designs for e-learning and assessment. These designs will be sustainable for the Trust’s work-based lifelong learners and transferable into other training contexts and elsewhere within the wider NHS community. LLAMA will enhance the acquisition of the key competencies in mandatory training. Lifelong learners will benefit from the ability to personalise their learning experiences in a technology-rich and flexible environment via innovative uses of a range of mobile and wireless devices.
