Expected Outcomes
The CHEETAH team will collaborate with six institutions involved in the Benchmarking and Pathfinder Programme to enable them to develop and enhance their institutional capability in e-learning design, by:
a. Transferring key know-how, models, frameworks and lessons learned from the University of Leicester’s ADELIE Pilot Pathfinder Project to support course teams in embedding good practice in e-learning design;
b. Offering to run and embed the CARPE DIEM process (4 days of visits, including the two-day CARPE DIEM workshop) as a developed, well-researched, well-rehearsed and proven instrument for capacity building in successful student-centred design for e-learning;
c. Designing a cascade and change model for all partners to ensure continuity and sustainability of the processes in their own Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and evaluating the effectiveness of these processes, to further advance the embedding of e-learning;
d. Providing opportunities for additional knowledge transfer, support and dissemination within the CHEETAH partners and across the wider Programme.
CHEETAH will use findings from ADELIE research and development to enable partner institutions to apply key interventions and principles that facilitate successful course (re)designs for e-learning.
