Aims

ADELIE aims to:

make a big difference, fast, to the quality of students’ learning through e-, m- and blended learning across a wide range of disciplines and modes;
foster change, development and capability building across a wide range of disciplines and achieve better resource and cost-effective development of student learning activities than typical approaches in many campus-based universities;
work with the prevailing culture, structure and norms in the University of Leicester while raising its long-term capacity for productive student e-learning;
provide timed interventions for a specific purpose within the university, uniting the efforts of people who would not normally work together;
transfer to the teachers key relevant pedagogical understanding important to e-, m- and blended learning;
embed e-learning by supporting the design of new courses or those being developed with e- or m-learning elements;
provide transferable models for, and disseminate them widely to, the HE e-learning community.
